Gautier employs 1100 people and Gautier products are distributed in 45 countries.

Designing kids' furniture Gautier's main market is kid's furniture, but it is losing grounds to its competitors. Gautier asked me to help them understand their users' preferences, and provide concrete design guidelines. We started by defining a target population: teenage girls between 12 and 16. As I show in the "process" page, we investigated the emotional preferences of this user group. |
Applying an emotional design process Though Gautier has skilled designers and market researchers, they were not familiar with user testing and users' emotional preferences. I worked closely with Gautier's executives, designers, and market researchers, to seemlessly integrate an emotional design approach into their design process.
